Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born April 18th, 1967 is an American actress as well as a producer and writer. Her film credits include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016). Bello was a prominent figure in the world of television as Dr. Anna Del Amico in the medical drama ER (1997-1998) as well with other prominent roles, including Michelle McBride in the first season (2016) of Goliath as well as Jacqueline Sloane in the first season of Goliath, a Special Agent on NCIS from 2017 to 2021. Bello was born on April 18, 1967, in Norristown (PA) in the United States to Kathy, a teacher and school nurse, as well as Joe Bello. She also was a part of the show Touch (1997-1998). Bello has other roles that are starring, such as Michelle McBride on the show in 2016 and Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane in 2017-2021. Bello pursued a degree in political science at Villanova University. After graduating, Bello honed her acting skills in a number of New York theater productions. Bello was married to Dan McDermott and has a son who is named Jackson. She wrote in November 2013 about her same-sex relationship with Clare Munn, and how it ended. She released a book titled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the labels we assign to ourselves (Dey Street Books, April 28 in 2015).
